Hello and good afternoon! It’s Mike Weiland in Downtown Minneapolis reviewing the week of September 26th thru October 2nd 2010. On the MLS in Downtown Minneapolis including all 9 of the downtown neighborhoods there were 7(11,10,13,10,9) new listings, 5(7,7,7,7,5) relists, 9(7,3,9,9,10) pending properties and 8(5,7,2,14,7) closed sales.
Our Downtown Minneapolis market activity remains consistent with the last 3 months. That is good news because buyers continue to behave according to what the market is telling them! The low-cost of money and favorable real estate pricing equal a great time to buy. The cross-section of activity is encouraging. It includes new construction and well established buildings. The price points range from the 100k range to one million.
