Hello and good afternoon! It’s Mike Weiland in Downtown Minneapolis reviewing the week of July 31st thru August 7th 2010. On the MLS in Downtown Minneapolis including all 9 of the downtown neighborhoods there are 19 new listings, 8 relists, 12 pending and 4 closed sales.
It’s been a hot week in Downtown Minneapolis with the temperatures at the high end of the thermometer. The Downtown Minneapolis real estate market has not been quite as hot but is still moving as reflected in double-digit number of properties under contract. We usually see an increase in purchase activity near the end of the summer. We will continue to track and report downtown market behavior to you weekly.
